Breaking past the "2 hour patience limit"posted Nov 26th 2004, 10:44PM

I joined a daily sketch group to help myself get past my lack of motivation. Its a great thing, and i invite everyone to do such a thing. Although it is difficult to find enough people online who would participate daily, if you can find a place to do it, stick with it, it helps a lot.
The great thing about the group is almost all of our work never past sketches, i mean it is a sketch group after all. So none of my actual work-time passes 2 hours.
But i was thinking the other day that i rarely finish anything which takes more then 2 hours to draw unless it is part of some huge project which i am dedicated to, or is a new method which i am obsessing over so I hyper focus. (that happens to me when doing something new, so i end up spending 13 hours at a time making something without breaks)
I guess i'm just looking for things to help me stay glued, and not allow my mind to keep thinking "god.. i'm bored" or something of the sort.
